It is non-drying and has a unique power to accelerate wound repair. ALL kinds of skin damage – from cuts to radiation burns – heal more quickly when treated with SBO. This amazing precious oil also has a low-level of natural sunblock to help guard against the sun's rays. SBO is a dark red to deep orange in color.
Neem Oil - Neem oil has natural anti-fungal, antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It also repels fleas. One of the main drawbacks of Neem oil is the smell which is a cross between burnt garlic, onion, and coffee. One of the benefits of the smell is that your dog might not like it and therefore might not lick it off. (Although all of the ingredients are completely non-toxic & safe for your pup if ingested and will work from the inside out!)
Mango Butter - Mango butter is a super paw protector and is rich in vitamins A, C & E as well as containing high levels of essential fatty acids. The vitamins help to immediately combat free radicals in the skin which can cause dryness, cracking, and other problems especially for dog paws. Dog paws are under extreme stress all year – not just in winter – and when their paws are cracked and worn down it can be very painful when they walk.
Coconut Oil - Coconut oil is an excellent base to help soothe your hound’s pads. Coconut is nourishing in so many ways whether it is ingested by licking or massaged in to soften. You just cannot go wrong with coconut oil.
Soybean Wax - Soybean wax is beneficial to salves as a replacement to beeswax as it keeps the product vegan. It has the ability to "knit" cracked skin back together and repair cracked tissues and is a great option for keeping the product solid and easier to apply.
